Staff Accountant

Shifflett & Philips is looking for a bookkeeper who is significantly experienced in QuickBooks and can provide financial support to a variety of clients in different industries. The ideal candidate will be able to manage monthly activity, prepare bank reconciliations, and provide financial statement preparation and analysis. Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of general ledger accounting Process corporate bank account reviews and reconciliations Prepare monthly financial statements EOM and YE close routine Review payroll tax payments and filings Use and implement QuickBooks for clients (QuickBooks Desktop & QuickBooks Online) Key Requirements and Qualifications Preferred associate accounting degree or equivalent experience Experience working with a CPA firm is a plus Professional presentation and conduct is required Must be responsible and self‑managed, have excellent follow‑up and tracking skills and be detail‑oriented Minimum 4 years' experience in QuickBooks is required Able to work in‑office and travel to client sites Company Description Shifflett & Philips is a boutique CPA firm that offers services in all stages of the business life cycle.
