Key qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active SLP license in Minnesota (or ability to obtain)
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Passion for working with children of diverse backgrounds and needs
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic school environment
Core responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students ages 3-21
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Deliver services in both group and individual settings as appropriate
- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive atmosphere for all learners
