Home Care Registered Nurse - PT/PRN

BrightStar Care of Southwest Atlanta & College Park We're looking for an RN who's comfortable with a mixed caseload. Right now that may mean things like infusions, G-tube feedings, bowel and bladder programs, and wound care, with more variety likely as our caseload grows. If you want real clinical variety and some say over your own schedule, this is worth a look. This is a part-time role: flexible hours, hands-on patient care, and a small clinical leadership team that's easily reachable. Pay & Schedule $40-50/hour, with specialty cases sometimes commanding a premium per shift. Paid weekly, direct deposit. Shift length varies depending on the case, with every visit getting at least 2 hours of pay, and scheduling flexes around what's available: days, evenings, weekends. What the Job Looks Like On any given assignment you might be: Managing G-tube feedings and troubleshooting enteral equipment Running a bowel or bladder program per physician orders Completing G-Tube Feedings for pediatric patients Doing wound assessments and dressing changes Starting or monitoring IV infusions and managing PICC lines, if you're assigned one Running full clinical assessments and catching changes in condition early Building and following an individualized plan of care with the rest of the team Walking patients and families through their care plan Keeping the DON and care team looped in on what's changing Charting from the field on our mobile system Mentoring caregivers on the case so care stays consistent Why Nurses Stick Around Here Flexible scheduling. What You Need Active, unrestricted GA RN license At least 1 year of clinical experience Current CPR/BLS and First Aid Negative TB test or chest X-ray in the last 12 months Valid driver's license, reliable car, current insurance Solid assessment and communication skills Willing to work some weekends, evenings, or holidays, as needed Comfortable moving between different types of skilled care rather than sticking to one lane You'll be on your feet, bending, and helping patients move, and should be able to lift up to 50 lbs when needed.
