Senior Specialist, Data Engineering and Analytics

Senior Specialist supporting Small Molecule Science & Technology's data and analytics initiatives. This individual contributor role executes data engineering, pipeline development, and analytics solutions to enhance manufacturing operations and process understanding across multiple business units.
Responsibilities
- Execute data engineering and analytics deliverables to support SM S&T priorities and business objectives
- Build, maintain, and enhance data pipelines, transformations, curated datasets, and analytical outputs
- Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and analytical solutions that improve visibility and decision support
- Investigate data quality issues and partner with teams to enhance data completeness and usability
- Translate business requirements into data specifications and fit-for-purpose analytical outputs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, data science, computer science, or related technical discipline
- Five years of experience in data engineering, analytics, manufacturing systems, or technical operations (three years with master's degree)
- Working knowledge of manufacturing or operational data in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated environments
- Hands-on experience with data preparation, transformation, pipeline development, analytics tools, or reporting solutions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deliver quality work with appropriate guidance
