Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 12 months Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 18 months required License: Must be in hand prior to start date Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS preferred Must-Have: - Telemetry skills - IV start and management - Administration of cardiac and vasoactive drips - BiPAP and high flow oxygen management Description: The position involves caring for patients in a progressive care unit. It includes providing telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, and administering medications. Nurses will manage patients with cardiac conditions and utilize advanced equipment. Experience with various cardiac medications is required. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to float within the facility as needed. Weekend work is a requirement, and staff are expected to cover major holidays. Candidates must be comfortable working with adult and geriatric populations. Floating to other units or facilities may also be necessary. Orientation will be provided to ensure familiarity with the unit’s procedures and protocols. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role.
