The Congregation of Holy Cross in Notre Dame, IN is looking to hire a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide care and support to our residents residing in our religious community. This role is available for 2nd shift and offers competitive starting pay of $28.00 to $32.00 per hour, with shift incentive bonuses for weekday and weekend shifts. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide nursing care to our residents with compassion and efficiency. You will arrive punctually, learn and understand each resident’s needs, and offer medical, nutritional, emotional, and spiritual care. You will maintain confidentiality, follow instructions safely, stay calm under pressure, and demonstrate leadership by proactively communicating with the nursing team. You will enjoy great satisfaction in helping others and taking pride in the quality of care you provide. Qualifications Diploma from a certified nursing program and 1-3 years of relevant experience Current and valid Practical Nurse license in the State of Indiana Experience with Microsoft Office and standard office equipment Outstanding interpersonal communication skills Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds WORK SCHEDULE FOR A LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE This nursing position has one shift option: 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, alternating every other weekend and holiday.
