We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Pharmacist to join our dynamic, independent pharmacy team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, providing expert pharmaceutical advice, and ensuring optimal patient care. We have sufficiently staffed our store with a committed group of well trained pharmacy technicians. This allows you to utilize your expertise to support clinical decision-making with local providers that you will get to know on first name basis. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient service, possesses strong clinical knowledge, and is interested in company ownership. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient health outcomes through expert pharmacy practice.

Candidates who relocate to our rural area before August would be eligible to apply for a $375,000 Rural Health Transformation Grant if the candidate remains in rural Nebraska for 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately while adhering to all legal and safety regulations, including HIPAA compliance.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapy, considering medical history, physiology, and anatomy knowledge.
• Provide expert guidance on medication administration, drug interactions, side effects, and proper usage to patients and healthcare providers.
• Manage pharmacy inventory efficiently, including stock replenishment.
• Utilize Liberty Software to document prescriptions, patient interactions, and medication histories precisely.
• Perform patient service duties such as immunizations administration, patient education on medication adherence

Qualifications

• Valid licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Nebraska.
• Knowledge of immunization schedules according to ACIP protocols
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient service and interdisciplinary collaboration within medical teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $65.00 - $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 - 40.0 per week
