About the Clinician‘s Workday

The anesthesiologist will assist in directing and coordinating activities within the Anesthesia Department, with responsibility for the medical management of patients rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgical and medical procedures. Responsibilities include conducting pre-anesthesia assessments, obtaining and verifying patient consent, and discussing anesthetic options and risks with patients. The clinician will manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia while monitoring patients‘ physiological conditions throughout each procedure. This is a day shift position with no call required, operating within a 100% hands-on practice model at an outpatient setting.
