Qualifications:

• Standard Arizona Secondary Teaching License (required)
• Current K-12 Special Education Certificate (required)
• IVP Fingerprint Card (required)
• Experience with students with emotional disabilities and/or other qualifying conditions
• Awareness of the needs of at-risk, ethnically diverse, or limited English proficiency students
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement IEPs and related documents per federal and state guidelines
• E.E.E.I. training or willingness to participate in staff development

Responsibilities:

• Full-time onsite instruction for students with special needs from August 3 through May 21
• Create supportive, effective classroom environments for students requiring help with prosocial and self-regulatory skills
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development as needed
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with all regulations
