Position assignment to the WAYS Career Path Program: Expert

Job Objective

The Accountant is responsible for strong technical accounting skills, compliance expertise and professional value. There is a focus on financial reporting and analysys, budget management and accuracy.

Description of Main Tasks

• Process weekly accounts payable payment run.

• Prepare accruals and Netting process of month-end close.

• Perform the bi-weekly liquidity forecast.

• Prepare quarterly PRC reporting to headquarters.

• Assist with external & C-SOX audits and tax return preparation.

• Serve as back-up for applying customer payments to open invoice.

• Accounting with focus on assets accounting and accounts payable.

• Collaboration in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual balance, including reporting package with HGB as well as ideally IFRS.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Competencies

• Education as financial accountant as well as several years of professional experience.

• Work experience within an international environment, preferably in the automotive industry.

• Knowledge in “HGB” and IFRS.

• Sound experience in asset accounting and accounts payable.

• Very good user skills in SAP FI as well as with MS Office, especially MS Excel.

• English language on C1-C2 level (person is able to express himself/herself spontaneously, fluently and precisely).

• Local language on C1-C2 level (person is able to express himself/herself spontaneously, fluently and precisely).
