Service Desk Analyst I

Akkodis is seeking a Service Desk Analyst I for a Contract job with a client in San Antonio, TX . The ideal candidate will have experience in IT support, customer service, incident management, and help desk operations, along with strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Rate Range: $19/hour to $20/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Service Desk Analyst I Job Responsibilities Include:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for end users seeking technical assistance through phone, email, chat, self-service portals, and walk-in support channels.
• Respond to, document, prioritize, and manage incidents and service requests while ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, desktop, laptop, mobile device, and application-related issues using established support procedures and diagnostic techniques.
• Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support teams while providing detailed documentation, troubleshooting history, and incident analysis.
• Monitor systems and service requests, maintain accurate records, and update ticketing systems to ensure proper tracking and resolution of support activities.
• Install software, assist with application support, and provide technical guidance to end users on IT systems and services.
• Maintain detailed documentation for internal and external knowledge bases, including processes, procedures, troubleshooting steps, and solutions.
• Act as a customer advocate by keeping users informed throughout the support process and ensuring a positive service experience.

Desired Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in Information Technology, Help Desk Support, Customer Service, Network Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users.
• Working knowledge of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, operating systems, software installations, and common end-user technologies.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve common hardware, software, and application-related issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a Service Desk, Help Desk, Call Center, Technical Support, or IT Operations environment.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems, knowledge management tools, and IT service management processes.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or other entry-level IT certifications are preferred or the ability to obtain them.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments, enterprise applications, and mobile technologies.
• Knowledge of incident management, service request fulfillment, and customer support best practices.
• Experience working in a 24x7 operational environment supporting critical business systems.

Pay Details: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour
