Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that holistically address client goals, progress, and challenges while ensuring alignment with best practices in mental health care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists, to provide comprehensive care and effective treatment strategies.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with ethical and regulatory guidelines.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills and stay current with advancements in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our counseling services cater to a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. You will have the opportunity to work with clients from various cultural backgrounds, providing a culturally competent approach to therapy that acknowledges and respects their unique experiences and perspectives.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• A valid LMHC license to practice in New York State.
• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health theories and methodologies, with an emphasis on practical application in therapeutic settings.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of direct clinical experience working with diverse populations, demonstrating an ability to address complex mental health issues effectively.
• Experience with teletherapy platforms and electronic health record systems is preferred, enabling smooth interactions with clients and documentation processes.
• Previous work in a community health setting or similar environment is highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a generous salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
