District Manager – Multi-Unit (Fast Casual Dining) A large and rapidly growing casual dining franchisee is seeking an experienced Area Coach (District Manager) to oversee multiple restaurant locations. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, developing leadership talent, ensuring consistent guest experiences, and maximizing financial performance. Benefits include: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Life insurance Short-term & long-term disability 401(k) with company match Paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick time) Company Vehicle or Car Allowance Key Responsibilities Leadership & Talent Development Recruit, coach, and develop Restaurant Managers and Assistant Managers Build a strong leadership pipeline and succession plan across locations Hold management teams accountable for performance and results Operational Excellence Ensure consistent execution of company standards, including food safety, quality, and facility maintenance Drive operational improvements through adherence to systems and processes Lead the rollout and execution of new products and initiatives Guest Experience Ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience across all locations Respond promptly and effectively to guest concerns Coach teams to exceed guest expectations Analyze sales, labor, and cost trends to identify opportunities Develop and execute strategies to improve profitability Establish and monitor key performance metrics (KPIs) Performance Management Set clear expectations and measurable goals for each location Track and improve employee satisfaction, retention, and engagement Drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of multi-unit or district-level experience in restaurant or food service management Proven track record of: Developing high-performing teams Improving guest satisfaction and retention Driving sales and profitability Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Deep understanding of restaurant operations and industry best practices Bonus Program (performance-based) Company vehicle or vehicle allowance Spending Card for work-related expenses Schedule Primarily Monday–Friday Weekends and evenings as needed based on business demands Equal Opportunity Employer We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and make all employment decisions without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristics.
