Human Resource Assistant

Primary contact for fingerprinting processes for Wayne RESA and Wayne County consortium districts. Provides day-to-day clerical support services to the Human Resources Department.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or higher in Human Resources or related field preferred.

Experience:

• Two (2) years of experience in a Human Resource Department preferred, or a minimum of five (5) years of general clerical experience required.

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using the Microsoft Windows desktop operating system and Windows-based software.

Required Testing*

• Keyboarding, Microsoft Word, Excel, Alpha Filing and Spelling

Compensation:

Current Non-Bargaining Salary Schedule, Grade 0 ($59,919 - $66,061) and a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including health/dental/vision/life and long-term disability insurance. 19 paid holidays, generous time off, and Membership in the Michigan Public Schools Employee Retirement System.
