Senior Production Designer

Seeking a detail-oriented Senior Production Designer for a full-time position, this role involves leading complex book cover production projects, creating high-quality layouts, and preparing final files for print and digital release, with the flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid model from various states. Key responsibilities: Lead book cover production projects from approved design to final print and digital files Build full-cover layouts and prepare files for manufacturing, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications Mentor junior production designers and identify opportunities for workflow improvements Required qualifications: 8+ years of experience in book production design or a similar production-focused design role Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat Advanced understanding of print production and prepress processes Portfolio demonstrating relevant book cover and print production experience Experience mentoring or training other production professionals
