Schedule

72 hours every 2 weeks, with 12-hour rotating day/night shifts. Weekend coverage required every 3rd weekend.

Assignment Details

Contract includes 72 hours per pay period.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a community hospital setting.
• Current state license required.
• Charting experience using Epic is required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN (Beginner & Intermediate).
• Key clinical skills: labor and delivery care (vaginal delivery, induction, c-section support), postpartum and newborn care, external fetal monitoring, neonatal resuscitation basics, IV medication/infusion administration, venipuncture, patient teaching, and medication reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in the OB, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum/Nursery settings.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy as needed.
• Support and educate patients and families throughout the labor, delivery, and postpartum processes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize external fetal monitoring and interpret data effectively.

Compliance / Notes

COVID-19 vaccine is required, with medical/religious exemptions allowed. Orientation consists of 24 hours; pre-approved time off is not allowed.
