- Job Overview
- We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class A Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate MUST HAVE ROLL OFF EXPERIENCE. Candidate must be familiar with operating various types of trucks, including roll-off trucks, dump trucks, flatbeds, tankers, and tractor-trailers. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently, delivering materials and equipment to & from job sites, while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Must know how to load & unload flatbeds. Must be able to work independently. NCCCO Crane Certification is a plus, but not required. This position involves a combination of commercial driving duties and yard or warehouse labor. Therefore candidate must be able to lift 80 lbs.
- Equipment Operation: Safely drive specialized roll-off trucks to deliver empty dumpsters and pick up full ones using a hydraulic cable mechanism.
- Safety & Inspections: Conduct thorough DOT pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (e.g., brakes, tires, hydraulics) and document them.
- Load Security: Ensure all hauled debris is evenly distributed and properly tarped to prevent materials from flying out during transit.
- Compliance: Strictly adhere to all DOT, OSHA, and local traffic regulations.
- Route & Site Navigation: Maneuver long and heavy vehicles into restricted spaces, such as tight alleyways, construction zones, and busy commercial properties.
