Maintenance Technician III

Perform and facilitate general facility repairs such as plumbing, electrical, lighting, painting, HVAC, and wall repair. Perform planned and unplanned repairs, and preventative maintenance to production-related equipment, Powered Industrial Trucks, and building equipment. Support and perform planned and unplanned repairs and preventative maintenance to maintain operation of conveyors and sorter equipment. Have a fundamental understanding of AC and DC systems and how to use a voltage meter. Can follow lock out/tag out policy. Help implement continuous improvement processes including Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities. Understand and comply with all safety and environmental regulations & company procedures. Input and maintain records using CMMS systems to ensure accuracy of time, parts, and repairs. Implement mentoring responsibilities for orienting, training, & assigning work related tasks. Requirements Read and comprehend technical manuals Familiarity with blueprints, and engineering specifications High School graduate or equivalent; Industrial mechanic trade school courses or certification or equivalent military technical training 5 years experience with mechanical and electrical systems including conveyor/sortation systems or similar equipment. Two years leadership or mentoring experience Must have a valid driver's license Oversee the completion of multiple tasks Prefer knowledge of building codes, National Electrical Code, National Fire Protection Association, and OSHA regulations Working knowledge of voltage meter and AC/DC systems Can repeatedly lift 50 pounds Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in facility repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and preventative maintenance for production-related equipment.
