Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN)Join our team as an Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse. This position focuses on providing high-quality care to patients undergoing various interventional radiology procedures.Job DetailsUnit Type: Interventional Radiology (IR)Shift Length: 10 hoursGuaranteed Hours: 40 hours per weekYears of Experience Required: 1 yearShift Schedule: 4 days a week (Monday to Friday), 7:30 AM - 6:00 PMResponsibilitiesCirculate interventional radiology cases and assist with procedural sedation.Monitor and sedate patients, performing pre-/post-admission and recovery tasks at designated locations.Work collaboratively with a team that includes IR technicians and other healthcare staff.Handle common diagnoses and procedures such as strokes, neuro interventions, angiograms, and vascular corrections.Participate in emergency care as required, ensuring rapid response within designated time frames.QualificationsMust possess current BLS and ACLS certifications.A minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant nursing role is required.Experience with interventional radiology procedures and moderate sedation is necessary for travel nurses.Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Epic, is preferred.Willingness to take on call responsibilities during assigned schedules.Working ConditionsThe position involves working in both designated interventional radiology suites.Average number of cases handled per day is between 10-15.Participate in scheduled call, with expected response times outlined.Orientation and training will be provided, encompassing both general hospital orientation and unit-specific protocols.If you are a dedicated and experienced registered nurse seeking to advance your career in interventional radiology, we encourage you to apply and become part of our dynamic healthcare team.
