Practice Setting: Outpatient Neuropsychology Practice
Schedule: Monday - Friday | Flexible Schedule | No Weekends or Holidays
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Pediatric Neuropsychologist to join a well-established outpatient neuropsychology practice in Newton, MA. The ideal candidate will conduct comprehensive neuropsychological and neurodevelopmental evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults while working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment.
This position offers strong administrative support, schedule flexibility, opportunities for professional growth, and the ability to focus primarily on clinical care and assessment services.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological and neurodevelopmental evaluations
Perform diagnostic interviews and clinical consultations
Administer and interpret psychological and neuropsychological assessments
Prepare detailed neuropsychological assessment reports
Provide feedback sessions and treatment recommendations to patients and families
Participate in multidisciplinary case consultations and clinical team meetings
Attend weekly case conferences and educational seminars
Collaborate with schools, healthcare providers, and community professionals as needed
Participate in educational team meetings and school observations when appropriate
Qualifications:
Doctoral Degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology from an APA/CPA-accredited institution required
Completion of a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology required
Massachusetts Psychologist License or License Eligibility required
Experience conducting pediatric neuropsychological evaluations preferred
Strong assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional development
Patient Population:
Children, Adolescents, and Young Adults
Majority of patients range from ages 4-22 years
