Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit during night shift hours
• Manage and care for patients with a variety of common medical/surgical diagnoses
• Implement and maintain isolation precautions including COVID and other required isolation protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license with Nursys verification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system (must be noted in profile)
• Current BLS/relevant certification card required
• Complete work history with no employment gaps greater than 60 days

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for patients requiring specialized isolation protocols including COVID and Monkeypox
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced medical/surgical environment
