Physical Therapist Assistant

Department Rehabilitation Services - Riverstone Position Summary Assist the Physical Therapist with a patient's rehabilitative activities. Responsibilities Work cooperatively with medical staff, case managers, social work, and adjustors. Perform a variety of tasks requiring creativity and latitude; report patient status to a physical therapist and manager. Perform other related duties as assigned. Be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field. Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Be competent to meet age‑specific needs of the unit assigned. Requirements and Minimum Qualifications Associate's degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant required. Current Idaho Physical Therapy Assistant License required. Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Working Conditions Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position. Typical equipment used in a clinical job.
