Assistant Wrestling Coach (DCHS)

Assistant Wrestling Coach (20262027) Dawson County High School is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to serve as Assistant Wrestling Coach for the 20262027 school year. This position supports the Head Wrestling Coach in developing and maintaining a successful wrestling program while providing mentorship and guidance to student-athletes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate knowledge of wrestling, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to fostering a positive, safe, and inclusive team environment. The Assistant Coach will play an important role in promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth, while serving as a positive role model for all participants. Responsibilities Assist with practices, supporting athlete development. Help coordinate competitions. Contribute to the overall success of the program. Qualifications Knowledge and/or experience in wrestling. Strong communication and organizational skills. Commitment to student-athlete development and well-being. Ability to work collaboratively with the head coach and school staff. Willingness to support a positive and inclusive team culture.
