Requirements

• Previous forklift experience, preferably in a steel yard, lumber yard, warehouse, or heavy material environment
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure (required)
• Ability to lift 50-80 lbs.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Reliable attendance and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to pass a 10-panel urine drug screen
• Forklift and tape measure assessments required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling steel, pipe, lumber, or other long/heavy materials
• Experience operating overhead cranes, saws, or fabrication equipment
• Warehouse, construction, or industrial yard experience

Job Duties

• Safely operate sit-down and heavy-capacity forklifts to move steel products
• Load and unload flatbed trailers and customer vehicles
• Pull, stage, and organize materials for customer orders and production
• Read tape measures to verify material dimensions and order accuracy
• Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for quality and accuracy
• Move steel bundles from flatbed trucks to warehouse storage locations
• Assist with inventory, banding, cutting, and other general yard duties
• Complete daily forklift inspections and report maintenance concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies

What You Will Do


As a Warehouse Associate you will receive, pick, pack, sort, stage, load, unload, and organize products throughout warehouse operations. You will verify inventory, prepare shipments, maintain accurate product locations, support order fulfillment, assist with inventory counts, and help ensure efficient warehouse operations while following established safety procedures.
