Shore United Bank is seeking a full-time Mortgage Regional Manager to join our team.The Mortgage Regional Manager proactively solicits new residential mortgage business and sells Shore United Bank mortgage products to meet established loan quality and production goals. In this on-going sales role, the Mortgage Regional Manager continually identifies, develops and maintains a quality network of business relationships that serves as a recurring source of referrals for new mortgage lending opportunities. Shore United Bank's Mortgage Regional Manager's network may consist of Real Estate professionals, Builders, professional and personal contacts, as well as other valuable referral sources, and is enhanced by the Mortgage Regional Manager's regular participation in business related development opportunities, community efforts to promote homeownership and professional organizations. The Mortgage Regional Manager responds to customer inquiries and referrals that are generated from both their own contacts and from other Shore United Bank business channels. They conduct interviews with prospective borrowers in order to analyze financial and credit data, determine customer financing objectives, advice customers of product/pricing policies and guidelines, and gather any additional required information. The Mortgage Regional Manager ensures exceptional customer service by maintaining thorough knowledge of lending programs, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements, demonstrating a commitment to professional ethics, complying with all Federal and State compliance policies and adhering to HMDA requirements. In addition to managing their own personal production, the Mortgage Regional Manager is responsible for the production, compliance, oversight, and overall performance of the loan production office and any personnel What You'll Do A detailed list of job duties includes (but is not limited to): Develops and maintains successful relationships with business referral sources. Prospects new mortgage lending opportunities. Meets with customers as necessary during various stages of the loan process. Uses Shore United Bank training materials, reference tools, and other resources to provide accurate and up-to-date loan program/policy information to both external customers and internal business partners. Provides complete loan applications to loan fulfillment partners, including processors, underwriters, closers, and the Secondary Department. Ensures exceptional customer experience by overseeing loan process from origination to close and providing on-going communication to customers and business partners. Achieves production goals as established by Shore United Bank. Ensures successful completion of all assigned Mortgage Regional Manager Training activities. Develop Business Referral Network through marketing, cold-calling, prospecting and networking activities. Participate in community efforts to promote home ownership. Meet with prospective borrowers. Review / Analyze credit and financial data. Determine borrower financing objectives and goals. Present appropriate Shore United Bank products and programs and explain guidelines. Apprise of pricing and lock rate as required. Identify appropriate opportunities to sell additional products. Collect supporting loan documentation as required and provide complete package to Mortgage Loan Processor. Upload complete application via Loan Origination System (LOS) procedures. Work with Mortgage Loan Processing Manager, Processors, Underwriters, Closers, and the Secondary Department to ensure that loan docs are submitted within Bank established guidelines. Work with Mortgage Loan Processing Manager, Mortgage Loan Processors, Underwriters, Closers, and the Secondary Department to ensure that loan conditions are met. Partner with Mortgage Loan Processors with on-going communication to customer regarding loan status. Demonstrates compliance awareness by completing all required regulatory and compliance training (e.g., BSA, CRA, ECOA) on or before deadlines, and actively supporting all policies, procedures, and practices that promote risk management, safety, and regulatory adherence. Demonstrating values and principles Self-evaluation in a timely manner All other duties as assigned Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g., Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, SAFE Act, etc.; ensures that the office and all personnel adhere to the same. Participates in required training sessions, including training for compliance with BSA/AML policies and procedures. Location Clinton Branch - 8843 Woodyard Road #123, Clinton, MD 20735 Position Type / Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelors degree preferred Minimum of 2 years residential mortgage lending experience with a focus on generating self-sourced business. Demonstrated success in prospecting, generating leads, closing business and consistently meeting/exceeding production goals. Verifiable, established network of referral business including Real Estate professionals and other centers of influence. Compensation The pay range for this position is $25,000.00-$40,000.00 annually Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
