What You'll Do As a Deli Clerk , you’ll help deliver high-quality food and excellent customer service while maintaining a clean and safe deli environment: Provide friendly, fast, and accurate customer service Prepare and serve food according to Freshies® recipes and food standards Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked deli area Receive and verify deliveries (check quality, accuracy, and invoices) Track deli and food safety information using handheld or paper systems Handle customer concerns and communicate issues to management Follow all company policies for cleaning, food prep, and safety compliance Use approved products and equipment for food preparation and sanitation Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Previous experience in food service, deli, restaurant, or retail is a plus Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask Team-oriented with a positive attitude Reliable attendance and ability to work flexible shifts (evenings, weekends, holidays) Training & Certifications TankSmart Certification (Level C) – training provide Why Join Freshies?
