Overview
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) travel assignment in Austell, Georgia. Start date 07/06/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay ranges from $1,839 to $1,867. Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in the OR, including preoperative assessment, positioning, instrumentation, and patient safety.
- Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams to maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
- Monitor intraoperative patient status (vital signs, anesthesia effects) and respond promptly to changes in clinical conditions.
- Assist with operative planning, positioning, instrument and sponge counts, specimen handling, and safe handoffs to the post-anesthesia care team.
- Document perioperative events, care provided, and patient responses; support communication with patients, families, and the broader care team.
- Uphold applicable regulatory and professional standards, including the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics, while supporting service excellence and patient advocacy.

Requirements
- Active, current RN license in Georgia (GA)
- Experience in perioperative nursing or operating room settings preferred
- Ability to work in a high‑stakes surgical environment and maintain sterile technique
- Availability to work 4×10‑hour day shifts as part of the assignment
- Eligible for a travel assignment and able to commit to a 13‑week contract starting 07/06/2026
