Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Meteorology, Atmospheric Sciences, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of operational meteorology or related forecasting experience Strong customer service skills with a client-first mindset Must be willing to relocate to Greenwood, Indiana Ability to work extended or nontraditional hours during significant weather events Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex weather information into clear, actionable insights Proficiency in interpreting radar, satellite imagery, weather models, and observational data Strong attention to detail and the ability to make confident decisions in a fast-paced environment What You’ll Do Develop and deliver accurate, customized weather forecasts for clients across a variety of industries Monitor evolving weather conditions and proactively communicate potential impacts to clients Respond to client questions quickly, professionally, and accurately Prepare detailed forecast reports, weather briefings, and decision-support updates tailored to client needs Translate complex meteorological data into clear, actionable recommendations Collaborate with fellow meteorologists to ensure clients receive timely, consistent, and reliable weather information Provide real-time forecasting support during high-impact weather events Salary & Benefits Starting Salary: $55,000+ annually, based on experience and qualifications. #J-18808-Ljbffr BAM Weather
