Electro-Mechanical Product AssemblerAssemble electro-mechanical products used in various customer applications by working from manufacturing procedures, method sheets, engineering prints, engineers bill of materials, and other technical documents. This position prepares sub-assemblies, final assemblies, electronic, electrical, and mechanical sub-assemblies, final assemblies, and after assemblies in their entirety.What You Will Do:Assemble individual electro-mechanical components as requiredManual holding, or control of components required during operationWork also may be washed in solution, pressure tested, or repaired by handWork from drawings, blueprints, sketches, verbal or written instruction, work orders, process sheetsExecute material handling procedures for work order processing and inventory floor stock maintenanceObtain parts and materials as instructed or as necessary or required to execute material handling proceduresPrepare finished work for shipment or storage as instructed or requiredPerform alignment or adjustments. Manually using various type special hand tools, if required, until exacting specifications are realizedMaintain personal production and quality standards as determined by supervisionResponsible for product quality and production quantity – work must be inspected to ensure conformity to specifications and quality standards before, during, and after completionReport defects, scrap, and/or production problems immediately to the Cell Leader and/or SupervisorMaintain records and other pertinent data as instructed or requiredFollow all safety regulationsMaintain area in a clean and orderly conditionCross-train and work in other assembly areasPerform similar and other related duties as instructed or requiredWe Are Looking For:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three years manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceVersatility required to perform many and varied other assembly and soldering operations manuallyMust have reasonable dexterity in hands to manipulate small partsAbility to read blueprints requiredAdditional Characteristics:Requires the ability to lift 20-50 lbs. occasionally, 10-25 lbs.
