Part Time - Retail Sales Associate

Job Title and Compensation Company: Cox Communications, Inc. Position: Solutions Specialist Mobile – Retail Sales Associate (Part‑time). Work Location: Specified Cox retail location. Hours: Flex – evenings, weekends, holidays. Base hourly rate: $17.00 – $22.88, variable total compensation target: $43,028 annually (approximately $20.69/hr). Additional incentive: up to $7,674 annually. Responsibilities Explain and demonstrate product capabilities, offering suggestions based on customer wants and needs. Meet or exceed targets regarding customer experience, sales, and retention. Assist with opening/closing the store retail environment. Handle cash properly. Participate in workshops, special events, and product demos. Support fellow sales agents as needed. Continuously expand knowledge of current Cox products and competitor offerings through training. May be required to work at other nearby store locations. Compensation and Benefits Targeted hourly base rate of at least $17.00 with an uncapped commission plan. Qualifications Minimum: HS diploma/GED or up to 2 years of relevant work experience. Ability to meet established sales, retention, and customer experience targets. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for consultative selling. Ability to build relationships and adapt to diverse customers. Multi‑tasking and prioritization in a fast‑paced team environment. Presence in the store for long periods to greet and demonstrate products. Computer literacy and aptitude for learning communication products. Flexible schedule – weekends, evenings, holidays. Ability to lift 25–50 pounds for inventory. Preferred: Some college experience in sales, business or management. One year of experience in a related field (sales, retail, service). Experience selling wireless/mobile products.
