Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVICU position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications, working day shifts in a fast-paced cardiovascular ICU setting.

Details

• Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) setting within a hospital environment
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
• Required to work every other weekend
• May float to MSICU, Neuro ICU, or Burn ICU as needed
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — all must be in hand
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU or relevant ICU nursing experience
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• No travel pairs or groups will be accepted
• Navy scrubs required
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
