Position Overview\n
Hope Recovers Behavioral Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time remote position. In this role, you will provide vital mental health services through teletherapy to adolescents and young adults, focusing on their unique challenges and supporting their journey towards recovery. With a salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, this position offers a competitive compensation package and the opportunity to make a profound impact in the lives of your clients.
About the Organization\nAt Hope Recovers, we address the urgent mental health crisis facing young people in the United States, characterized by alarming rates of anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Our mission is to connect individuals with essential mental health treatment, leveraging cutting-edge peer group programs, individualized therapy, and family involvement into comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans. We understand the barriers—both geographic and financial—that many individuals face when seeking support, and we are committed to offering treatment that is accessible, personalized, and effective.
Work Environment\nThis position is entirely remote, allowing you to provide therapy from the comfort of your own home while maintaining the necessary confidentiality and privacy to safeguard patient information. Our Operations team effectively manages the administrative tasks involved in therapy, so you can concentrate on what matters most: delivering high-quality mental health care. We offer a flexible schedule, with hours from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, and no on-call responsibilities, providing you a balance between professional commitments and personal life.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough virtual assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ mental health statuses and substance use histories. \n
- Lead engaging individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based frameworks and tailored interventions. \n
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to create integrated care plans that address the diverse needs of your clients. \n
- Educate and support families, offering guidance on how they can effectively contribute to their loved ones' recovery processes. \n
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations, ensuring adherence to best practices in documentation. \n
In this role, you will primarily engage with adolescents and young adults who are navigating complex mental health challenges. Your expertise will support them in overcoming obstacles related to trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance use, fostering an environment that promotes healing and growth. By prioritizing connections among young clients with shared experiences, we enable sustainable recovery and encourage empowerment through community and support.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required. \n
- Active state licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LICSW, or PsyD is essential for this position. \n
- Experience providing telehealth therapy specifically to adolescents and young adults is a must. \n
- Proficiency in navigating technology platforms such as Google Suite and Electronic Health Records (EHRs) is necessary for effective practice. \n
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential for building rapport with clients and collaborating with team members. \n
- A commitment to professional appearance and a warm, empathetic approach with clients are vital in this therapeutic role. \n
- \n
- At least 2-3 years of experience providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions is preferred. \n
- Familiarity with our specific evidence-based treatment frameworks, known as care pathways, will enhance the treatment experience. \n
- Ability to work independently from home while maintaining patient confidentiality through reliable internet access and a private workspace. \n
- \n
- Compensation within the range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience. \n
- A comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance options tailored through our partnership with Stride Health, retirement plans, and paid time off. \n
- Continuous professional development opportunities, providing you with ongoing training, learning, and growth in your field. \n
- A collaborative work culture that encourages supportive teamwork and personal advancement within the organization. \n
- Meaningful work that allows you to create a positive impact in the lives of youth, families, and communities. \n
