Document Reviewer – Steel Construction
Location: Somerset, New Jersey
Salary: $85,000–$110,000 per year, depending on experience
Benefits: Health insurance, 401(k), PTO, and bonus
Job Description
An established steel erection company in the New York metro area is looking for a detail-oriented Document Reviewer to join its Somerset, NJ office. The ideal candidate has experience reviewing and managing project documents, preferably within the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Review and check project documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Review submittals, contracts, shop drawings, RFIs, and other construction documents.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other team members.
- Track document revisions and maintain organized project records.
- Identify missing information, errors, or inconsistencies and follow up as needed.
Requirements
- Must have document review or document control experience.
- Construction industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple documents and meet deadlines.
- Must live within commuting distance of Somerset, NJ.
