Inventory Specialist

Hiring an Inventory Specialist for a Start Up Drone company in Hayward, CA!

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and investigate any variances by reviewing transactions, PO history, receiving issues, production usage, and system movements.

• Analyze discrepancies by identifying root causes such as incorrect POs, mis-picks, mis-labels, BOM errors, or 3PL mistakes.

• Partner with Receiving to correct upstream errors and implement preventive measures.

• Coordinate with Production to understand material flow, WIP consumption, and ensure point‑of‑use inventory is accurate.

• Maintain accurate records by documenting findings, updating inventory data, and ensuring ERP/WMS integrity.

Work Environment

The role is based in a warehouse environment within a manufacturing company, with a shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Mateo, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.50 - $28.60/hr.
