The Child Caregiver will provide attentive supervision and support to children within a small family-centered daycare center. Reporting to the daycare manager, this role involves creating a safe, engaging environment that promotes healthy growth and development. The caregiver will work regular weekday hours with flexible scheduling options, fostering strong communication with parents and contributing to a nurturing, well-managed setting.
Responsibilities
- Supervise children to ensure safety and well-being
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities
- Monitor safety and promptly address potential hazards
- Maintain clear communication with parents regarding child progress and needs
- Manage behavior using positive and consistent approaches
- Assist with hygiene and daily care routines
- Provide emotional support to children to foster confidence and comfort
- Keep accurate records related to child care and activities
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent

- Entry-level experience in child caregiving
- Strong child supervision skills
- Awareness of safety protocols
