EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE Minimum Required: Graduate of an approved program in Surgical Technology, and certified as a Surgical Technician. BCLS certification; recertification required every two years. Must be competent to perform in all areas of surgical services. Preferred: Same ADDITIONAL SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS Incumbent must demonstrate an ability to apply age-appropriate principles of communication and clinical practice relevant to patients of all ages.
