Litigation Support & eDiscovery Project Assistant (iCONECT/Xera)

Our client, a leading civil rights law firm, is seeking a Litigation Support & eDiscovery Project Assistant to support electronic discovery processes and data management across all stages of the EDRM. This role involves assisting with litigation support projects, providing technical support to legal teams, and supporting document review, processing, and database management. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and organizational skills, with experience in eDiscovery platforms, particularly iCONECT/Xera, highly preferred. Experience with additional litigation support tools is a plus. This hybrid position is based in Washington, D.C., with three days in the office each week.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide end-user technical support for the firm's document review platform, iCONECT/Xera
• Create and maintain case-related document databases
• Assist with the collection, processing, review, and production of ESI based on case requirements and deadlines
• Coordinate and monitor litigation support tasks, including uploads, coding layouts, tagging, redactions, and QC/QA
• Maintain accurate production logs and conduct quality control checks
• Help identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues
• Provide litigation support including file management, document organization, and timeline tracking
• Assist with trial preparation and management of exhibits
• Coordinate with internal legal teams, outside counsel, and vendors regarding discovery workflows
• Conduct basic quality control of data and document batches
• Monitor communications for project requests, updates, and assignments
• Support document reviews by managing user access and coordinating reviewer questions
• Perform additional document and database management tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Prior litigation support or eDiscovery experience preferred, including internship or law firm experience
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and processes
• Experience with iCONECT/Xera is highly preferred but not required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team

​​Expected salary for this non-exempt role is $60,000 - $80,000, commensurate with experience, training, skills, qualifications, and other market factors.
