Avli is looking for a full-time lead prep cook. Avli Restaurants are creative Greek, where tradition meets contemporary elegance and guests experience our core philosophies of Philoxenia (hospitality), Kefi (joy), and Meraki (passion).

• Daily set and prepare a wide variety of prep lists

Job Duties:

• Prepare all food items for the daily menu of an events team offering a variety of cuisines in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.
• Ability to read and interpret prep lists and prepare to required quantities
• Responsible for the correct food preparation of each recipe
• Receive and store product on a daily basis including meat, seafood, produce, dry goods, and beverages
• Clean and maintain prep area in practicing good safety, sanitation, organizational skills.
• Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Job Schedule:

Must be available to work various hours, days, and shifts, including nights and weekends. Primarily a daytime shift.
