Description What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests across various disciplines, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, following established protocols diligently.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform essential preventative maintenance and calibrations on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare them thoughtfully for testing as necessary.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all procedures, provide training for new staff or students, and uphold the highest standards of lab quality.
• Ensure a safe, clean work environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP or AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout the duration of employment.
