Role Description The Inside Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Baltimore, MD. This role is responsible for managing inbound and outbound sales calls, assisting walk-in customers, and providing accurate product information for decking, dock, and marine construction materials. The Inside Sales Specialist will prepare quotes, process orders, follow up on leads, and coordinate with yard and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment. Daily responsibilities include maintaining strong relationships with contractors and homeowners, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and using the company’s systems to track opportunities and customer interactions. The role also involves resolving customer issues promptly, supporting inventory and merchandising efforts, and contributing to a safe and organized branch environment. Qualifications Demonstrated Inside Sales and Lead Generation skills, with experience converting inquiries into orders. Strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction focus, with a commitment to building long-term relationships. Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication with a diverse customer base. Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). Experience in building materials, marine construction, or outdoor living products is preferred. Ability to work on-site, handle a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple priorities accurately. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or training in sales or business is a plus.
