Therapist - $5,000 Sign-On Bonus (Las Vegas, NV) Full-Time

Position Therapist Location Las Vegas, NV – Onsite (This role is not eligible for Remote or Hybrid) Compensation Starting Salary Range: $95,000 Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 (paid in 2 installments) What’s the role? The Therapist will provide therapeutic support for clients with mental health, behavioral health and substance abuse issues. All Therapy Services must be conducted in the office or at one of our support/crisis center locations (e.g., teletherapy to be done in office). The focus is on the promotion of recovery, symptom reduction, increasing coping skills, and the achievement of the highest level of social functioning. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to diagnose mental health disorders and develop appropriate treatment plans. Utilize a variety of assessment tools and techniques to gather information about clients’ mental health status. Offer evidence‑based individual therapy sessions tailored to each client’s needs. Facilitate group therapy sessions to provide support, build coping skills, and promote interpersonal growth. Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that outline therapeutic goals and strategies. Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on clients’ progress and changing needs. Document all client interactions, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards. Ensure all client records are kept confidential and secure. Respond to clients in crisis situations with immediate therapeutic intervention to ensure safety and stability. Provide ongoing support and resources to help clients manage crises and prevent future occurrences. Take crisis calls and level‑of‑care determination calls. Qualifications & Requirements A minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling or crisis intervention is preferred; experience in providing on‑call crisis services is highly beneficial. A master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required. A state licensure as a mental health professional (Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist) is required. Must pass drug screening and background check. Must be willing to receive vaccinations. Knowledge of therapeutic methods, clinical documentation requirements, state resources, and current concepts used in diagnosis and treatment of behavioral health care. Strong leadership ability and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Skills evaluating family dynamics, social influences, and interpersonal relationships. Ability to conduct biopsychosocial assessments and treatment plans. Ability to assess risk, safety, and crisis situations, and to develop safety plans. Ability to engage with diverse populations and provide culturally humble interventions. Ability to interface with other departments and collaborate towards common goals. Additional certifications in crisis intervention, drug and alcohol counseling, or trauma‑informed care are advantageous. Preferred and Stand‑Out Qualifications Experience working with underserved populations including children, youth, adolescents, adults, and families. Ability to work nights and weekends.
