As a Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $25.10 / Hour

• Valid Driver's License

  • Candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123).
  • Additionally, candidates must hold a valid driver's license that complies with the regulations of the job state (C124).

• EMT Certification

  • Candidates applying for positions that require emergency medical response must have a current EMT certification (C127).

• Technical Proficiency

  • Candidates must demonstrate comfort and proficiency in using a computer or tablet (B204) to ensure effective communication and task management.

• Customer Service Experience

  • Candidates should have prior customer service experience (B219) to ensure they can effectively interact with clients and provide high-quality service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial work areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle records.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• EMT certification is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
