We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accounting Clerk to support product costing, inventory management, production reporting, and pricing activities. This role works closely with Accounting, Purchasing, Operations, and R&D to ensure accurate costing and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Maintain material conversion records and coordinate related purchase orders.
• Verify work orders and production costs.
• Prepare daily production efficiency reports.
• Assist with month-end closing activities.
• Update customer pricing and costing information.
• Support product costing and process improvement initiatives.
• Follow GMP and Food Safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Business, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in accounting, costing, manufacturing, inventory control, or data analysis.
• Strong Excel, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP, accounting, or inventory systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly sit and use hands for typing and handling materials.
• Occasionally stand, climb, walk, reach, or lift up to 10 lbs.
• Close, distance, color, and peripheral vision required.

Work Environment

• Moderate noise level.
• Manufacturing/office environment.
