Reports to:Beverage SupervisorJob Summary:Assist servers and guests in providing fast and courteous service of beverages to guests byperforming miscellaneous tasks such as tend beverage station areas ensuring a high level ofquality and consistency. You will be responsible for adhering to all health, sanitation, andcleanliness standards that meet state and local Health Board inspection, and brand standardrequirements.Essential Functions:1) Ensure compliance with the applicable Tribal, Federal and other laws and gaming regulationsand Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies and procedures.2) Ensure the highest possible standards of guest services by properly listening and respondingto guest and team member concerns and questions.3) Assist in the service of beverages in accordance with the established standards4) Maintain the orderly upkeep of the beverage station area5) Clean and/or wipe down beverage station6) Stock beverage service station with napkins, cups, condiments, etc.7) Fill coffee cups and soda cups, and other condiments8) Prepare and/or transport beverage items and associated supplies, equipment, and materials toand from the beverage station areas.9) Monitor area to ensure adequate supplies of beverage, napkins, condiments, etc. to serve allguests; replenish beverage station items and areas as necessary.10) Order beverage station inventory through beverage inventory clerk11) Maintain a clean, neat, and well-organized work area, which may include but is not limited tofilters, carts, sinks, refrigerator/freezers, service areas, walls, floors, and counters. Emptytrash receptacles and clear tables as required.12) Deep clean and sanitize soda machine, knobs, and coffee machine13) Check the working condition of equipment and machinery in accordance with specifications.Report to supervisor all unsafe or malfunctioning equipment, safety hazards, or any othermaintenance and repair needs.14) Demonstrate and promote KLECH core values15) Attend and satisfactorily complete all required training as assigned.16) Monitor compliance with Federal currency transaction reporting requirements, Title 31requirements and IRS Currency Transaction Reports and property established Anti-MoneyLaundering policies. Maintain accurate MTL, MIL, CTR and SAR as needed.17) The essential functions listed above are not an all-inclusive list but rather a generalrepresentation of the duties and responsibilities pertinent to this position. The duties andresponsibilities will be subject to change based on organizational needs and/or deemednecessary by the Director.18) Perform other duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements to Qualifications:1) Strong communication skills in English both written and oral. Spanish or other languageskills a plus.Other Criteria:Qualified Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas Members and qualified Native Americanpreference is observed.Skills and Abilities:1) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.2) Ability to maintain effective relationships with the General Manager, Directors, Managersand all staff.3) Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, stressful environment.4) Ability to meet multiple deadlines and multi-task.5) Ability to have strong critical thinking, analytical and guest service skills.6) Must possess a positive attitude with strong organizational and leadership qualities.7) Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.8) Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.9) Ability to understand complex instructions and material.10) Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with individuals of varying socialand cultural backgrounds and with co-workers of all levels.11) Ability to work effectively with individuals and demonstrate leadership and team buildingskills with empathy and enthusiasm.12) Ability to maintain confidentiality.13) Ability to follow and comply with established Casino guest service programs.Physical Demands:1) While performing the duties of this position, the team member is regularly required to stand,sit, walk, push, pull, bend for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; talk and listen ona regular basis.2) The team member must be able to concentrate for prolonged periods.3) Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheralvision and depth perception.4) The team member must be able to communicate effectively in person or usingtelecommunications equipment.5) Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.6) Handling objects; products, bus tray/tub, plates, glasses, chemicals, cleaning supplies,utensils, etc.Work Environment:1) Normal office setting and casino floor.2) Frequent walking and standing in a smoke-filled environment and frequent contact with thegeneral public.3) Temperature controlled environment with varying noise levels. May be exposed to highlevels of noise throughout the day.4) Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required including nights, weekends andholidays.5) Must be able to perform under pressure and work long hours under stressful conditions.6) May be exposed to the risks associated in attempting to resolve issues with difficult guestsand extremely irate staff members.7) May be exposed to various types of lighting including, but not limited to: artificialfluorescent lights, flashing lights, strobe lights, multiple colored lights, etc.8) Travel may be required to perform one or more essential functions of this position.Conditions of Employment:1) Must be able to obtain and retain a KTTT Gaming Commission License, including successfulcompletion of background check necessary to obtain and maintain license. Responsible tokeep all documents current and valid at all times.2) Must be able to provide authorization to work in the United States.3) Must be at least 18 years of age.4) Must have access to reliable transportation to commute to and from work.5) Must comply with KLEC handbook, internal policy and procedures, and gaming regulationsset within KLEC.
