Assistant Property Manager

Job Overview We are actively seeking a dedicated Assistant Property Manager to support the oversight and operations of a diverse portfolio of retail properties. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the Property Manager (PM) to ensure smooth daily property operations. Utilize Yardi to track and manage contracts, tenant correspondence, and maintenance work orders accurately. Serve as a primary point of contact for tenants, promptly resolving concerns and fostering positive, long-term relationships. Liaise with the facilities management team to coordinate ongoing upkeep, oversee timely repairs, and conduct regular site inspections. Assist with core accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP). Partner with the PM on Common Area Maintenance (CAM) billing and year-end reconciliations. Provide vital administrative support by assisting with financial reporting, budget preparation, and strategic planning. Oversee vendor relationships and manage ongoing service contracts. Administer lease agreements and ensure tenant compliance. Support overall financial management of the assigned portfolio. Qualifications Minimum of 2+ years of experience in commercial property management (specifically retail, office, or industrial spaces).
