This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Principal Product Manager based in India.

This is a high-impact product leadership role focused on transforming enterprise sourcing through AI-powered and increasingly autonomous workflows. You will own the long-term product vision for an intelligent sourcing experience spanning event creation, supplier engagement, negotiation, and award analysis. The role sits at the intersection of product strategy, enterprise procurement, artificial intelligence, algorithmic decision-making, and negotiation. You will design how human buyers and AI agents work together while establishing deterministic guardrails for safe, reliable autonomous execution. Working closely with enterprise customers, AI specialists, engineers, and senior stakeholders, you will translate complex sourcing challenges into scalable product capabilities. You will also influence go-to-market strategy, competitive positioning, executive conversations, and the evolution of the product roadmap. Accountabilities

• Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for autonomous sourcing, defining how AI capabilities can transform the sourcing lifecycle from template creation and market signaling through launch, negotiation, and award.
• Design AI-agent workflows that allow human buyers and intelligent agents to collaborate effectively across sourcing activities.
• Translate complex sourcing and negotiation strategies into deterministic, measurable guardrails covering pricing, payment terms, SLAs, and other multi-parameter trade-offs.
• Partner with enterprise procurement leaders to understand sophisticated sourcing requirements and convert them into scalable AI-driven product capabilities for both high-volume tail spend and strategic categories.
• Drive integration across the broader procurement ecosystem, ensuring sourcing capabilities connect effectively with intake, supplier portal workflows, contracting, and downstream procurement operations.
• Collaborate closely with AI researchers, game theorists, engineers, and technical leaders to define requirements, agent architectures, evaluation frameworks, and model performance benchmarks.
• Develop differentiated product capabilities that create a strong competitive position through closed-loop sourcing execution, network-scale insights, intelligent negotiation, and risk-mitigated decision-making.
• Serve as a product evangelist by leading customer briefings, executive presentations, product demonstrations, and competitive discussions around autonomous sourcing.
• Communicate complex AI, product, and procurement concepts clearly to C-level executives, procurement practitioners, technical teams, and other stakeholders.
• Continuously evaluate market developments, customer needs, emerging AI capabilities, and competitive offerings to refine product strategy and identify new opportunities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience, preferably within enterprise SaaS, with a proven record of taking complex products or capabilities from strategy through successful delivery.
• Demonstrated experience designing, building, or defining AI/ML, LLM, or agentic automation capabilities within enterprise products.
• Deep expertise in strategic sourcing and procurement, including e-auctions, RFX processes, supplier negotiations, negotiation tactics, and multi-criteria bid optimization.
• Strong understanding of AI agent workflows, deterministic guardrails, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and API-driven orchestration across enterprise transaction platforms.
• Ability to apply algorithmic thinking and game-theory concepts to complex negotiation and sourcing scenarios.
• Strong strategic and competitive mindset, with the ability to identify structural product differentiators and translate them into compelling market positioning.
• Exceptional customer-facing communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to explain sophisticated technical and AI concepts clearly to executives and practitioners.
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to influence AI, engineering, design, sales, and other teams without relying solely on formal authority.
• Ability to operate comfortably in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment while balancing long-term product vision with practical execution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, particularly when working with complex enterprise workflows, AI systems, and data-driven decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to understand customer pain points deeply and translate them into intuitive, scalable product experiences.
