Our client is one of New Hampshire's well-established litigation firms, seeking an experienced Medical Malpractice Defense Attorney to join its growing litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to handle sophisticated litigation matters while working alongside experienced defense attorneys and building toward long-term growth and partnership opportunities.

• Manage medical malpractice defense cases from intake through trial.

• Represent physicians, hospitals, nurses, and other healthcare organizations.

• Handle pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motion practice.

• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.

• Handle court appearances, hearings, and other litigation proceedings.

• Negotiate settlements and prepare cases for trial when necessary.

• Work closely with senior partners on significant client matters.

• Maintain strong client relationships and provide responsive legal counsel.

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

• 3-5+ years of medical malpractice defense experience.

• Prior defense-side litigation experience required ; plaintiff-only experience is not preferred.

• Strong experience with depositions, courtroom proceedings, motion practice, and case management.

• Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and negotiation skills.

• Licensed to practice in New Hampshire or eligible for admission .

• Ability to independently manage litigation matters while collaborating with senior attorneys.
