Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in North Newton, Kansas. Job Details Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 40 (8 hour shifts) Employment Type: Travel Facility: SNF / LTC Responsibilities Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, including providing direct patient care to evaluate their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, restrictions, and potential for rehabilitation. Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to each patient’s capacity and tolerance under the direction of a physician. Set realistic and achievable goals, document and record the patient’s condition, and educate patients and families in an appropriate physical therapy method. Requirements Must have graduated from an accredited school. Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT, or actively in the process of obtaining licensure as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT. Current CPR certification. Develop a plan of care for each patient. Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders. Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet physical therapy goals. Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
