Job Description The EEG/ECG Technician performs electroencephalograms (EEGs) and electrocardiograms (ECGs) to support accurate diagnosis and patient care, ensuring proper setup, monitoring, and completion of procedures while maintaining patient safety and comfort throughout testing. The technician oversees ECG workflow within the Intellispace computerized system, including entering, reviewing, and managing ECGs to ensure timely and accurate processing. Responsibilities include equipment setup and cleaning, order verification, documentation within the electronic medical record, and maintaining organized clinical workflow. Works collaboratively with providers, nursing staff, and other clinical team members to provide high‑quality cardiopulmonary and neurodiagnostic services. May perform additional duties to support departmental operations. Participants in an on‑call rotation, including weekends and occasional weekdays. Qualifications Registered EEG Technician, ABRET, ECG experience, or comparable experience preferred. Customer service experience preferred; good computer skills. Bachelor’s degree preferred. BLS certification required. Aptitudes Ability to manage multiple tasks, stresses, deadlines, difficult situations, and customers. Interpersonal and communication skills for effective, non‑judgmental, and empathetic patient care and customer relations. Open to feedback, adaptable to changing environment, flexible scheduling. Proficient in reading, writing, and basic arithmetic for medical reports. #J-18808-Ljbffr
