This role is structured for a remote work setting, offering flexibility to accommodate your professional needs while still allowing patient-focused care. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some scheduling flexibility based on the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments, thoroughly evaluating patients' trauma history and determining individualized treatment approaches.

• Design, implement, and regularly update personalized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and resilience-building.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing trauma, developing effective coping strategies, and enhancing their healing journey.

• Engage in proactive collaboration with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to provide integrated care solutions for patients.

• Provide prompt crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and other available support resources.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and company standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities centered on trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Stay informed about advancements in research and best practices related to trauma therapy to continuously improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals affected by trauma, focusing on those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patient-centered approach tailors treatment to the unique experiences and needs of each individual, ensuring that their path to recovery is both supported and effective.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD in New Jersey.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, with a track record of successful patient outcomes.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating compassion and a non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, ensuring patient safety and well-being.

Preferred Experience\n
